Damstra Mining Services are no longer accepting EFT payments for any transaction prior to invoicing. Alternative payment options are: Purchase Order, cheque (must supply a cheque with paperwork), & credit card. Upon receipt of invoice by your company, EFT payments are accepted.

United Colliery is located on the Golden Highway, outside of Singleton, in the hunter valley.
HOW TO BOOK A UNITED SITE FAMILIARISATION
STEP 1: Contact your task coordinator (Whoever organises your work or supervises your staff on site) to obtain a time and date that is convenient for both them and you. Make sure the date is going to fall outside the Five business day processing period from when you intend to send your paperwork through, to avoid a late booking fee.
STEP 2: Download the paperwork from the Paperwork menu.
STEP 3: Complete the Xstrata NSW Generic Registration form, print it out, sign the authorisation then either fax or scan and email.
STEP 4: Complete a letter of competency on the company letterhead stating:
• How long the employee has worked for the company and what their job title is.
• How many years experience the employee has in the tasks to be performed on site.
• What tasks will they be performed on site.
• State that you find the employee competent the perform the tasks described.
• Ensure the letter of competency is signed.
STEP 5: Forward completed letters of competency to your Task Coordinator at United Colliery for verification. These letters of competency will then be forwarded to David Andrews for approval & signature. All letters of competency must be approved & signed before forwarding to Damstra. Please contact Sharnee Ernst (02) 6578 9500 for clarification regarding this procedure.
STEP 6: Get the Pre-Approval for Contractor Induction completed and signed by site.
STEP 7: If the company is new to Damstra a Company Details Form needs to be completed in order to register.
STEP 8: If your company has not previously supplied the Insurance Request Form along with current inductions please submit them. If they are expired please send through updated copies.
STEP 9: Send to Damstra (inductions@damstra.com.au or fax 02 6571 4399) the Xstrata Registration Form, Letter of competency, pre-approval, insurances and if not previously supplied current proof of ID and qualifications that support what the employee will be doing on site. If you are unsure check the skills matrix spreadsheet attached below.
STEP 10: Damstra will check and process your paperwork .
STEP 11: Site ensure the employee completed the site familiarisation assessment.
STEP 12: Site then send the assessment to Damstra by 2pm on the day of training, who active the site familiarisation and enable their site access.
