Damstra Mining Services are no longer accepting EFT payments for any transaction prior to invoicing. Alternative payment options are: Purchase Order, cheque (must supply a cheque with paperwork), & credit card. Upon receipt of invoice by your company, EFT payments are accepted.

Please Note:
Ulan West Operations will be holding their Site Familiarisations on site at 2.30pm Tuesdays (location will be advised by site upon receiving signed approval - Ulan Complex Surface Approval form). Booking for Ulan West Operations are through Damstra with all paperwork the same as Ulan Complex (as indicated in the Paperwork tab). Ulan Complex Surface approval must be signed by an authorised Ulan West Operations representative.
If you are required to work at the Ulan West Box Cut Site for NMS, inductions are held on Site at Ulan West, on a Tuesday and will commence at 8am. Please ensure that you arrive 15 minutes early so that the induction can commence on time. Subsequent inductions will be held on a Thursday at the same time, but subject to numbers and NMS confirmation.
All bookings are taken via the NMS ULAN West Office.
The Ulan West Box Cut is being operated by NMS Contractors. The Ulan coal mines are located 310 km northwest of Sydney and 45 km northeast of Mudgee in the Western Coalfields of New South Wales. The 24/7 operation consists of a 400 m wide long wall miner, a coal handling and preparation plant, conveyors, a rail load out facility, a rail to port facility and an industrial water reuse scheme. The mining operations employ a total of 414 people, mostly locals.
