    Damstra Mining Services are no longer accepting EFT payments for any transaction prior to invoicing. Alternative payment options are: Purchase Order, cheque (must supply a cheque with paperwork), & credit card. Upon receipt of invoice by your company, EFT payments are accepted.

    The process used to book inductions has changed. Please read the process outline detailed in this document.

    Please Note:

    Ravensworth Underground Mine will be holding their Site familiarisation (required whether working on surface or underground) at the RSC Diggers Club at York Street Singleton on Thursdays starting at approximately 7.30AM and running for approximately 2 hours. If you are required to work at RUM you must have made either a booking for a Generic Induction or attended the Generic Induction prior to submitting all required paperwork to DMS a minimum of 5 full business days prior to the Familiarisation date. If you have confirmed a Generic induction booking you must have attended that Induction prior to the Familiarisation date.

    If you are required to work Underground at RUM you will be required to book into and attend an Underground Induction that will be held at the RSC Diggers Club at York Street Singleton on Thursdays, starting at 9.30am and running for approximately 5 hours. This booking will be taken by DMS at the same time you book your familiarisation if required.


    *CHPP*

    If you need to work at the RUM CHPP you will be required to book into & attend a CHPP Site Familiarisation.

    Please note if you are booking in for the CHPP it MUST be ticked on the pre-approval form.

    Ravensworth Underground Mine is situated between the major regional centres of Singleton and Muswellbrook in the Hunter Valley of NSW. The mine lies within the Hunter Wine Country and is less than 90 minutes from the beaches and other amenities of Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Port Stephens.Ravensworth Underground Mine has been developed for longwall extraction to exploit a large semi soft coking coal reserve. The Mine employs approximately 280 men and women to run the 24 hours 7 days per week operation.

    Contractor Letter

    Letter of Competency Example:- A Letter of Competency, no older than 2 months, must be supplied. This is an example of a suitable submission.

    Damstra Mining Services Paperwork

    To simplify information collection & to reduce the number of forms required, the Company Details form is now only required for companies that have not registered with Damstra Mining Services previously or if you need to update your company details.

    Use the Company Change form if you were previously registered with Damstra Mining Services under a different company name, & are simply transferring to a new company name.

    Note: All of the above paperwork & details must be received no later than 5 business days prior to the induction date (unless specified by the site). No bookings are made until all paperwork is received. Every skill that has been requested by an individual must be backed up with all the recognised paperwork for that skill, eg. Trade Papers, Degree, & Letters of Competency.

    For any variation to this site's process, you are required to contact your Site Task Coordinator.


    There is a fee payable for all persons who fail to attend their induction without prior notification by the close of business the day before the induction.
