Ravensworth Surface Operations will be holding their Site familiarisation on Site at the Mine on Tuesdays starting at 8am and running for approximately 1 hour. If you are required to work at Ravensworth Surface Operations you must have made either a booking for a Generic Induction or attended the Generic Induction prior to submitting all required paperwork to DMS a minimum of 5 full business days prior to the Familiarisation date. If you have confirmed a Generic induction booking you must have attended that Induction prior to the Familiarisation date.
Light Vehicle training will be conducted by TESA after the Site Familiarisation. To be included in the light vehicle training you must contact TESA directly to complete a booking.
An invoice for the amount of $40 (excluding GST) for each inductee, will be generated from TESA Mining Pty Ltd for the training services provided on behalf of Ravensworth Surface Operations Pty Ltd. This will be emailed after the induction has been completed.
Ravensworth Surface Operations is an open cut coal mine. The mine provides 6 million tonnes each year to Macquarie Generation for the Bayswater and Liddell Power Stations in the Hunter Valley. The mine is located in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales, between Singleton and Muswellbrook.
Note: Light Vehicle training is held on Mondays, and has a maximum of 4 people per class. To book for this training, you will need to complete and supply a Light Vehicle Training Request Form. You must have a current Ravensworth Surface Operations Induction to book for this training.
