As of Wednesday September 21, 2011, Ravensworth North will be holding their Site Familiarisations as Ravensworth North Construction Office, located on Lemington Road, Ravensworth. A map is available to download here.
Light vehicle training, if required is separate to the familiarisation and will take place after the familiarisation. The duration of the light vehicle is dependent on the number of people requiring light vehicle training.
If you are required to work at Ravensworth North you must have made either a booking for a Xstrata Generic Induction or attended the Xstrata Generic Induction prior to submitting all required paperwork to DMS a minimum of 5 full business days prior to the Proposed Familiarisation date. If you have confirmed a Generic induction booking you must have attended that Induction prior to the Familiarisation date.
The Request for Pre-approval and Mobile Equipment Authorisation form must be submitted directly to Ravensworth North not DMS, as per the email address on the form. Once the pre-approval form has been accepted and returned to DMS the booking for the Site Familiarisation can be confirmed.
NOTE: NO BOOKINGS FOR THE SITE FAMILIARISATION WILL BE MADE UNTIL SITE HAS RETURNED AN ACCEPTED PRE-APPROVAL FORM.
Please note that Ravensworth North has a zero tolerance for Drug & Alcohol. When arriving at site for the site familiarisation please log in at the Visitor Terminal and proceed to the First Aid Room, as all personnel attending the site familiarisation are required to present for Mandatory Drug and Alcohol testing prior to the site familiarisation. Only those with negative results will be eligible to continue with the site familiarisation.
