As of the 1st of January 2012, the Ravensworth Underground Coal Prep Plant will be a separate independent Xstrata Operation, known as Ravensworth Central Coal Processing (RCCP).
All current RUM surface inductions will be recognised & continue until their current expiry date. Anyone not inducted & wishing to work at RCCP will need to hold a current Xstrata Generic induction & a RCCP site familiarisation.

The RCCP will hold site familiarisations (at RCCP) every Thursday morning, starting at 11am & running for approximately 60 minutes.

To attend a site familiarisation, you must have submitted all requisite paperwork to Damstra Mining Services at least 5 full business days prior to the proposed familiarisation date. Once Damstra Mining Services has received & processed all correct paperwork, you will receive a confirmation e-mail to your nominated Company e-mail address. Please contact Damstra Mining Services if you do not receive this confirmation.

Ravensworth Central Coal Processing (RCCP) is situated between the major regional centres of Singleton & Muswellbrook in the Hunter Valley, NSW. The processing facilities & Rail Terminal lies within the Lower Hunter & is less than 90 minutes from the coat & the cities of Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, & Port Stephens. As the name implies, RCCP services a number of surrounding mines, providing coal benefication, cargo assembly, & train loading capabilities to both Xstrata & independent coal companies.
